The Harvest Group Wealth Management, LLC, a family-owned, independent Registered Investment Advisor (RIA), announces that Managing Partner and Senior Wealth Management Advisor Laurie Ingwersen presented on a webinar hosted by The Community Foundation for Greater New Haven (CFGNH). Held on February 16, 2023, the webinar, Retirement Matters: Helping Your Clients Plan Through a Lifetime, from Accumulation to Distribution, unpacked recent changes affecting retirement for both individuals and employers.

The CFGNH webinar addressed a variety of retirement topics including, increased contribution limits for 401K/403b plans, simple and SEP plans, employers matching student loan payments with contributions to IRAs, increased age range for clients to catch up on retirement contributions, reduced penalties for failure to take a required minimum distribution, significant lifetime tax advantages to using the qualified charitable distribution (QCD), particularly for residents of Connecticut, and more.
